Zion Trailhead Shuttles

Zion Canyon Shuttle Service

Shuttle service for the Scenic Drive (The Narrows, Angels Landing and Emerald Pools)

Zion National Park has a designated area called “The Scenic Drive”. This is a road that is closed to personal vehicles during times of busy visitation (March-December). On this road you will find trailheads to many of the iconic hikes in Zion such as The Narrows, Angels Landing and Emerald Pools. While there are some hikes in Zion (Canyon Overlook, The Watchman and Par’us trails) that you can drive your personal vehicle to, trailheads on the scenic drive will require you to obtain a shuttle. The options below are meant to help you decide what shuttle is right for you.

It is also important to know that we rent eBikes and this is another great way to get into the canyon that eliminates the need for a shuttle entirely and allows you to avoid the long shuttle lines . You can enjoy a gorgeous ride through the Zion canyon on the way to your hike! Visit our eBike page for more info!

Important Zion National Park Shuttle Update:

“In response to updated guidance on transit systems in National Parks and COVID-19, Zion National Park is discontinuing the temporary shuttle ticket system for Zion Canyon. Tickets for the shuttle will no longer be needed starting Friday, May 28, 2021.

Shuttle bus capacities will be similar to pre-COVID. In order to meet safety requirements, each passenger must be seated or have a standing room handhold (railing, stanchion, seat bar, overhead grasp handle). The current shuttle stops will remain the same.

COVID-19 Cancellation Addendum:

To protect the safety and health of your group, other area visitors, and our employees we have devised the following policy without leniency. Due to the ongoing health issues related to COVID-19, your trip, rental, and/or shuttle is contingent upon you and your group members arriving healthy, without ANY symptoms of COVID-19 as outlined by the CDC and local health departments AND you demonstrating compliance with Zion Guru protective procedures as outlined by your guide or outfitter. If your guide or outfitter feels you, or members of your group have COVID-19 symptoms OR that you represent a compliance risk with social distancing, sanitizing practices, or personal protection protocols, they reserve the right to cancel the trip or refuse service on the spot. Full refunds will be processed by our reservation manager within 3 days of this cancellation.

Other Shuttle Services

The massive vertical terrain of Zion National Park makes many hiking and canyoneering trips most easily approached as one-way journeys. This means you leave your car at one trailhead, and end up at another, quite distant from the first. Before embarking on such an adventure, you must arrange a trailhead shuttle to reunite with your car.

Zion Guru offers hiker trailhead shuttles throughout Zion National Park and the surrounding area. Our private shuttle service operates on a per-request basis, following the below pricing. We can accommodate most of Zion trailhead shuttle styles and approaches.

For all trips ending in Zion Canyon, you leave your vehicle in town and we shuttle your party to your starting destination trailhead. Once you reach Zion Canyon, you take the Zion Scenic Shuttle System back to town, where your car is.

For other adventures, like The Subway, we meet you at your destination trailhead (where you leave your car) and take you to the departure trailhead. When you finish your hike, your car conveniently awaits. Zion National Park Wilderness map.
